Details

The understated Smiths shoe is a refined 4-eye rework of our classic 1461 shoe — discovered decades ago in our archive. Leopard print has a longstanding connection to rebellious subcultures — and a history of being adopted by wearers to refuse to blend in. This reworked version of the Smiths shoe showcases a statement all-over leopard print Hair On — with matching antique gold eyelets. Welted on a classic DMS sole and finished with our signature yellow welt stitching.

  • A pillar of DM's construction. Our Original and most recognisable sole. A height of 1.25 / 3.17CM — marked by traditional DMS tread pattern that's unique to Dr. Martens. One of our most flexible soles, well known for its comfort and stability.
  • Our Goodyear-welted lines are heat-sealed at 700˚C and reinforced with our signature welt stitch
